2nd Congress on Veterinary Medicine focuses on the below topics
Session 1: Animal Health
Animal health is a sector which is related to animal health advisors, livestock producers, processors and government. Livestock producers and processors will get benefited by acquiring education, knowledge and coordination to prevent the non-regulated diseases of animals. Animal health can be protected and maintained by keeping a clean environment. Animal health plays a major role now a day to educate the generations about the importance of the animals in day to day life.

Session 2: Camel Science
Camel science proves that camels have been domesticated from a long time as they serves as a livestock they provide food, milk, textiles like fibres & felt from hair. Camels serve as the vital ways of transportation for passengers and are uniquely suited to their desert habitats. The surviving species of camels are Dromedary (One humped), Bactrian camel (Two humped) and wild Bactrian camels. The wild Bactrian camels are critically endangered now days. Camels can easily adapt for higher temperatures. There is a need for protection of camels which have become a rare species.

Session 5: Poultry farming
Poultry farming is a part of animal husbandry which raises domestic birds like ducks, turkeys, and geese, chickens to produce eggs or meat for food. Chickens are the most widely farmed in great numbers. More than 50 billion chickens are raised by the farmers annually. Chickens are majorly divided into two categories such as layers (raised for eggs) and broilers (raised for meat). Poultry producers will use nationally approved medications in water or feed to control outbreak of diseases.

Animal toxicology deals with the study of major sources of toxins, diagnosis of poisons, circumstances for exposure to poisons and preventive studies of poisons which helps in controlling the risks of poisons. Toxicological testing is done by various pharmaceutical corporations to know the actions and reactions of drugs. Toxicological testing is a major area of animal model testing in which approximately a millions of animals are used per year in Europe. Animal care and management is the science which describes the study of care and management of animals which are used for chemical or toxicological testing. The major goal of this study is to usage of minimum or required number of animals for toxicology testing of the drugs to know the side effects before entering into the market. The animal models are to be used only for mandatory or vital studies so that the mortality rate of animals can be controlled. It is the duty that agrees and observes the animal prosperity along with the humans.

Session 12: Animal vaccines
Animal vaccines are a key tool to prevent disease burden in domestic animals, pets, farm animal to maintain animal health and welfare. Vaccination plays a vital role in control and prevention of diseases. The Animal vaccines available today represent years of innovative research and meet many of the disease threats faced by pets and farm animals. Vaccines are available for many animals, dogs (canine parvovirus), sheep’s or cattle (bluetongue), travelling pets (rabies). The task in developing new vaccines tells us that vaccines are part of many of animal medicines – that together protect and treat our companion and farm animals.

Aquaculture is also called as farmed seafood. Aquaculture is a crucial source of national seafood production. Aquaculture involves breeding, rearing and harvesting of plants and animals which are grown in water environments. There are many races of peoples who depend only upon seafood farming for their lifetime. Aquaculture involves the farming of species like fish, crustaceans, aquatic plants, algae, molluscs etc. Aquaculture vital role is to cultivating fresh water and salt water populations in well-controlled conditions and can be contrasted with harvesting of wild fish which comes under commercial fishing.

Animal nutrition is the field that deals with the study of dietary needs of animals, majorly those in agriculture and food production, zoos, aquariums, wildlife management. Animal nutrition studies on composition and characteristics of the materials which are taken by animals and the way in which the consumed materials are metabolised in the digestive tract and the cells of animals. The metabolism of materials differs in different species like monogastric animals like pigs, broilers, layers; ruminants like sheep, cattle, goats; lower digestive tract fermenters like horses, ostriches. Animal nutrition focuses on achieving the optimal genetic production potential of animals.

Session 19: Animal Cloning
A transgenic animal is one that conveys a crucial quality that has been knowingly embedded into its genome material. The remote quality is achieved utilizing recombinant DNA method. Analysts evacuate to develop substantial cell from a creature that they wish to duplicate in regenerative cloning. They at that time exchange the DNA of the giver creature's substantial cell into an ovum that has had its own DNA-containing core evacuated.

Session 21: Animal reproduction
Animal reproduction deals with the study of formation of diploid fertilized egg from a male haploid gametes and female haploid gametes by the process of fertilization. The zygote formed from the fertilization of haploid gametes is termed as diploid Zygote. Majorly animals undergo sexual reproduction whereas some animals like sea stars and anemones, as well as some insects, reptiles, and fish has the capability to undergo asexual reproduction. Animal reproduction undergoes the stages like zygote cleavage, which involves transformation of single celled zygote into eight celled zygote which undergoes further divisions leading to formation of blastula which undergoes cellular rearrangement to form gastrula which is the digestive cavity. Organs are formed by the process of organogenesis.
